Dhanteras is all about Maa Lakshmi and prosperity, so gold zari, haldi yellow and sindoori red are the classic picks. Gold stands for wealth, yellow for new beginnings and red for shubh energy. Quick styling tips for Dhanteras
- Let one thing shine. If the saree has heavy zari or ghungroo, go for simple studs or a single pair of long chain jhumkas.
- Keep the pallu manageable. You'll be lighting diyas, so pin the pallu or pick a ready-to-wear saree.
